Berklee’s Office of Education Outreach and Social Entrepreneurship (EOSE) has announced two summer 2025 partnerships—with the City of Boston’s SuccessLink Youth Employment Program and the Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) program, in collaboration with EdVestors—that will bring Boston high school students to campus for paid internships offering hands-on experience in the arts and exposure to the inner workings of a higher education institution.
SuccessLink
Berklee will serve as a grant partner in the 2025 SuccessLink program, which is managed by the City of Boston’s Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity (YEO) and runs from June 30 to August 28. Through this partnership, the college will host 10 Boston youth, ages 14–18, placed in teams across various departments. Interns will gain experience in areas such as operations, marketing and communications, production, event management, admissions, research, and fundraising.
This partnership is a collaboration between EOSE, the Office of the President, Human Resources, and Community and Government Relations, and is part of Berklee’s broader efforts to support youth workforce development and professional readiness.
Bloomberg Arts Internship
The Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) program will return to Berklee for a second year in partnership with EdVestors. From July 9 to August 15, the college will host three rising high school seniors from Boston Public Schools each week, Wednesday through Friday. Interns will work closely with Berklee’s Gospel Performance Program, develop their own video blog, and support the Tito Puente Latin Music Series.
The BAI program, a joint effort between EOSE, Africana Studies, and Community and Government Relations, also includes weekly cohort days hosted by Bloomberg Arts, focused on college and career preparation, cultural field trips, and exposure to Boston’s creative economy. Berklee has previously served as a host site for BAI’s program orientation and closing events.
These initiatives reflect EOSE’s ongoing mission to build bridges between Berklee and the broader Boston community. In addition to its leadership of the Berklee City Music program, EOSE is actively developing partnerships that align with the college’s role as a civic and cultural anchor institution.
