Biography

Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Kimi Fukuyama joined International Student Services in 2025. Prior to joining Berklee, Fukuyama was the international student advisor and SEVIS coordinator at Eastern Washington University. Before entering the international education field, she worked in the hospitality industry in Japan. As a student, Fukuyama earned her BA in sociology at the University of San Francisco and an MA in international relations at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. Outside of work, she enjoys walking around Boston, attending concerts, and visiting her family in Hawaii and on the east coast.
