The most common violations were Alcohol, Institutional Housing Policies - Noise Violations, Controlled Substances/Drugs (cannabis/marijuana), and Failure to Comply.
As for resolutions, there were 221 Community Standards Hearings, 408 Educational Letters, and 89 Informal Educational Meetings.
Not all students who are documented have a Community Standards Hearing. Last year, 497 students had either an informal educational meeting with a staff member or received an educational letter.
Educational Sanctions are educational or reflective assignments given to a student who violated a policy. 52.1% of students who receive educational sanctions receive reflective assignments. 40.1% of students receive alcohol, cannabis, and other drugs education/support. Lastly, 7.8% of students receive a sanction related to community engagement.
Disciplinary Sanctions are statuses that describe the disciplinary standing of a student. Below are the types of statuses and the percentage of students that received them. 48.7% of students received disciplinary probation. 48.7% of students received a disciplinary warning. Lastly, 2.6% of students were suspended or expelled.
