Housing and Meal Plan Rates

Housing rates are separated into three terms: fall, spring, and summer.

Meal Plan Information 

All students living on campus must have a meal plan. Students have the option to choose a meal plan that best fits their needs. Both All Access Premium and All Access meal plans are available and can be selected through the student's Housing Portal. Unlimited meal plans allow for unlimited swipes in the main dining hall at 160 Massachusetts Avenue, also known as the Berklee Caf. 

Meal exchange swipes can be used at any of the other on-campus dining locations, including Cafe 24, Cafe 939, MeLo Acai and Smoothie Bar, and Archie's. Berklee Bucks may be used at any on-campus location or at any of the participating locations listed at Berkleecard.com. 

Reduced Meal Plans

Entering students are not eligible to have no meal plan while living on campus unless approved for an accommodation through Accessibility Resources for Students.

In order to be eligible for a reduced meal plan, a student must be in their third semester living in one of the following communities:

  • 12 Hemenway Street
  • 98 Hemenway Street
  • 270 Commonwealth Avenue

To select a reduced meal plan, please log in to the Housing Portal > Navigate to "Update Meal Plan" and follow the prompts. Meal plan updates in the housing portal are available only until the semester billing deadline. After that date, any changes must be requested by emailing the Housing Office at housing@berklee.edu.

Refund Schedules

Students who signed a housing contract and are withdrawing from the institution will be credited a portion of their contract based on what date they officially withdraw. Students who choose to cancel this agreement but remain enrolled at Berklee will be responsible for the entire housing fee and related charges. Please see below for the refund schedule for the current and upcoming semesters. 

To appeal any housing withdrawal fees, please reach out to housing@berklee.edu with a description of your appeal. All appeals are reviewed within two weeks of submission.
